If your throttle sticks, which of the following is recommended?

Squeeze the clutch and use the engine cut off switch

When throttle sticks, your priority is to cut power to the engine and disengage the drivetrain so you can regain control. Squeezing the clutch separates the engine from the rear wheel, preventing unwanted acceleration. At the same time, use the engine kill switch to shut off ignition quickly, so the engine won’t rev up further. With power controlled, you can brake to a safe stop and pull over if needed.

Other options don’t put you in as safe a position: turning off the engine while moving replaces quick control with a slower, less reliable shutdown; using only the front brake can risk losing control if the wheel still has engine power driving it; and accelerating would only make the situation worse by increasing speed and control loss.
